Our current projection for the completion of construction is the end of May 2024. There will likely be some finishing touches to do after that time (especially landscaping work post construction), but we feel fairly confident that we will secure a certificate of occupancy by that date.

The Historic Auditorium is a music and performing arts venue. Our goal is to provide a home to theatre, music, and other types of performing art. We hope to house the St. Croix Festival Theatre as one of our major tenants and welcome them back to the building they once performed in.

Unfortunately, we cannot allow anyone other than our contractors in the building during the construction phase.
It’s a dangerous environment and having random groups going through the building as work is being done makes
it even more dangerous. It’s also an insurance liability issue.

 Yes! We are renovating the balcony to allow for performance seating, including ADA seating.

The theater should have close to 270 seats (including the balcony seating) once construction is complete.

We are excited to say that the elevator will stop at all four floors of the auditorium…..the first floor, the mezzanine, the theater, and the balcony.

Absolutely. All restrooms will be ADA compliant. There will also be ADA seating in the theater as well as the balcony.

Yes. All windows in the original footprint of the building are being restored to match their historic look and feel. We are adding exterior storm windows as well that will give us better efficiency but not take away from the historic look of the windows.
