Finding Florence
Join writer and historian Haley Prochnow for a presentation on Florence Baker Riegel, a former resident of St. Croix Falls whose early studies in marine biology at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, shaped a lifelong devotion to science, community health, and the conservation of the St. Croix River Valley. This event is the capstone of Prochnow’s Artist at Pine Needles Residency at the St. Croix Research Station
