The Honeydogs and Turn, Turn, Turn
Celebrate Summer Solstice weekend with a legendary local music double-header inside our historic 1916 theater! This unforgettable night brings together the absolute best of Twin Cities indie music history, tracking the evolution of pioneering frontman Adam Levy across two powerhouse bands.
The Honeydogs
Before the 1990s alt-country explosion took over the national radar, The Honeydogs were busy building a legendary wall of sound at First Avenue. As a cornerstone of the Midwest indie scene, their music seamlessly blends the swagger of classic rock, roots Americana, and punky alternative energy. For this special tour, they are hitting the stage with their original 1994 lineup—featuring brothers Adam and Noah Levy, Trent Norton, and Tommy Borscheid—to play the classic, guitar-driven anthems that started it all.
Turn Turn Turn
To make the night even bigger, Adam Levy's cosmic Americana trio, Turn Turn Turn, will take the stage. Featuring the incredible three-part vocal harmonies of Levy, Savannah Smith, and Barb Brynstad, this Minnestoa supergroup delivers a sun-soaked, 1970s Laurel Canyon style. Expect a beautiful, infectious blend of pop-infused folk, sweetheart alt-country, and soulful strut.
Don't miss this incredible night of soaring harmonies and timeless rock and roll history.
